      Solid apron, long enough to fold up 3x times and still cover the knees.

      I needed a smart, black, matt-finish bistro-style apron to complete my work uniform at the wine bar: long-sleeve, white dress shirt, 100% silk colored tie, black vest/waistcoat, black slacks, black dress socks with black oxford-type shoes. This full-size bistro apron turned out to be the perfect fit. I love the deep double pockets (large enough for bill/check presenter folders as well as wine tools: waiter's corkscrew, foil cutter, ah-so cork remover) and the extra long ties. Fully unfolded, the length goes down to mid-shins (I'm a short guy), but this is great, because it allows me to fold down the top by 1.5"; when done three times, this creates a good "belt" to wrap around the waist. This prevents the apron from sagging throughout my 8-hour shift, and also helps keep my shirt tucked in. Fully machine washable (cold water) and machine dry-able (tumble low to warm). Remove promptly from the dryer and no ironing will be needed.
