So who tops the list? Below are some of the top paid celebrity chefs in the country.
5. Guy Fieri- $8 million
Best known for this bleach-blonde spikes, frat boy colloquialisms, and his patented “sandwich hunch”, this dynamic chef and restaurant owner is the most successful winner of Food Network Star with his hit show Diners Drive-Ins and Dives and Guy’s Big Bite. That’s not all however. Fieri can be seen multiple times a day on the Food Network since he is also the other half of Rachel VS. Guy Celebrity Cook Off, a reality television show that pits well-known celebs against each other in food scenarios to win big money for their favorite charities. While he may be on the bottom of our list, he has one of the largest fan followings of any celebrity chef. He is “off the chain”.
4. Bobby Flay- $9 million
This New York native is a killer on the American Iron Chef circuit. He is known for blowing away his competition with his bold flavors and perfect sauces. Flay is a successful business owner with ten burger chain restaurants and six additional restaurant locations that include his Mesa Grill locations in New York and Las Vegas. Bobby Flay doesn’t stop there, he also has a number of shows on the Food Network, most notably as one of the Food Network Star judges along with Alton Brown and Giada De Laurentiis.
3. Paula Deen- $17 million
Though this southern Butter Queen has faced some troubles recently over her racial slur scandal, she is still one of the most well paid celebrity chefs out there. If nothing else can be said, this woman is a survivor. She faced scandal when she announced her battle with Type II Diabetes and then wound up with a contract with Novo Nordisk. While there has been talk of being dropped by the Food Network, Deen still works hard with her restaurants, cook books, product lines and live appearances.
2. Rachel Ray- $25 million
What sets this home cook celebrity chef apart from everyone else is that she doesn’t own a restaurant and she has never been classically or professionally trained. As a protégé of Oprah, Ray learned at the feet of the master, how to build an empire and that is just what she’s done. Between her successful Food Network Shows (30 Minute Meals and $40 a Day), her talk show, a magazine, live appearances, and a successful line of cookware, Rachel Ray is one of the hardest working women in the industry.
1. Gordon Ramsay- $38 million
Ramsay is a world class chef that is more known as a loud and aggressive TV personality on Hell’s Kitchen. He is also one of the judges on the cooking reality show, Master Chef. Ramsay has restaurants in multiple countries and all across the US. Gordon Ramsay is the train that doesn’t seem to want to stop.
The chefs on this list don’t have to worry about affordable uniforms, but we know that not ever hard working chef or member of a kitchen team is as fortunate as these few. That is why Fiumara Apparel works just as hard as you do to make sure that we offer quality apparel that looks great, feels great, and fits your budget
