The Corfu S2 from Giasco is a closed-back work shoe suitable for culinary industry professionals, such as wait staff, chef and other culinary professionals. It features an abrasion-resistant and anti-perspiration fabric lining. The metal-free shoe has an anti-torsion insert on the sole to assure stability even when standing on uneven surfaces. The three densities polyurethane sole is antistatic, resistant to abrasion, and anti-shock. The Corfu is slip-resistant and resistant to hydrolysis from oil-based materials. The foot-bed is anti-bacterial, and removable. A combination of these qualities ensures enhanced comfort and safety against injury for people who stand and walk for long hours, such as those in the hospitality industry.
